Marriage Equality: the states are falling fast

They say Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Appalachia in between, which may explain why our state has been behind the times on social issues, like abortion and marriage equality. Our governor (whose name, mark my words, will be Wolf instead of Corbett come next January) opined that Pennsylvania women, faced with a mandatory trans vaginal ultrasound with two personalized copies, should “just close their eyes.” If you Google our man-on-dog state senator’s last name you’ll find, thanks to Dan Savage, a rather unusual meaning for his last name.

Santorum Marries DogIt took a federal judge, but Pennsylvania is finally seeing the light.

Nice doggie! You’ll be quite happy with Rick.

One Response to Marriage Equality: the states are falling fast

  1. Maggie says:

Such a wonderful aspect of this is that Judge Jones was recommended by Senator Santorum, and nominated by President Bush. The Opinion written by the Judge is pretty moving.
