I’m not sure any TV program has ever spent an entire episode mourning the departure of one of its actors. For Josh Charles, last night’s episode of The Good Wife must have been like going to your own funeral. All those people so broken up that you’re dead: Alicia listening over and over to your last call; men tearing up; Kalinda acting out; Diane firing an intern who sobbed too loudly.
Enough already, was my reaction. Get over it!
A word to Josh: by now we’re so sure you’re dead, your next appearance, unless it’s on The Walking Dead, is going to feel quite spooky.
