In a foxhole on Vivaldi’s birthday

I can get along quite nicely in the world, believing that the shadows on the wall of Plato’s cave are all that is, until a piece of music brings me up short. This*, the Larghetto from Vivaldi’s Trio for Violin, Lute and Continuo in C major, is one of them.

*(On a much less transcendent note, you have to have iTunes to listen.)
