Killing is wrong

John Muhammad, the D.C. sniper, has one more day to live.

Ken Bridges, one of the people he killed, worked in the office across the hall from me for about a year. He was a wonderful guy – smart and kind. He loved his wife and kids.

He didn’t deserve to die. Killing is wrong.

But I’m sorry, killing is wrong. And if the Catholic bishops can impose their theological definition of unborn life on our legislature, I think they should go to the Supreme Court today and do something about born life.
